Internal links - Understanding with Related text

Making a link hub within the blog is done through internal links. The page value is passed to another page as a reference. A web page information should be further information from the other web page. In other words, the topic should be expanded with the next information.

Why are internal links important?

When you have multiple pages and some of them are related to each other. There is a task for the SEO guy to link them so that the reader can read further related information. When these links are created Google sees the pages and adds link value to a page that is linked to the high-ranked web page.

This way page authority builds and collection of good web pages are the signal to increase the Domain authority.

Formula: Good Page Authority + Good Page Authority = Good Domain Authority

Importance for search engine

Google information in a collection. Any niche is created to target a particular business area to make money. Creating one complete blog that has a different type of internal links, Googlebot visits the blog and understands that links to structured accuracy to the user in the SERP.

Internal hyperlink comes with anchor text that was developed to make hyperlinks to make navigation more easy. The internal link strategy is to make a link hub for readers so that readers do not struggle for interconnected information.

Link value becomes more when an SEO link juice is created for queries.

Types of internal links

Post type

The internal links main fact and are mostly used in posts due to connectivity requirements with relevant posts. I am also adding links in the post to make helpful posts for you.

Footer internal links

Some bloggers put links in the footer so that people can get in touch with more information.

Internal link with Doorway pages

Google Quote
Doorways are sites or pages created to rank for specific, similar search queries. They lead users to intermediate pages that are not as useful as the final destination. Examples of doorways include:
  1. Having multiple websites with slight variations to the URL and home page to maximize their reach for any specific query
  2. Having multiple domain names or pages targeted at specific regions or cities that funnel users to one page
  3. Pages generated to funnel visitors into the actual usable or relevant portion of your site(s)
  4. Substantially similar pages that are closer to search results than a clearly defined, browseable hierarchy
An update on doorway pages

In the above text, doorway Content SEO is defined, as how SEO guys target them but they are bad. If you are doing any of the 4 points that are given under doorway pages in the SEO example then doorway SEO will be penalized. Never try to make such internal links on your blog.

Internal link with a sneaky redirect

Making internal links comes under white hat SEO but making sneaky on the blog comes under black hat SEO.

Google Quote
Redirecting is the act of sending a visitor to a different URL than the one they initially requested. Sneaky redirecting is doing this maliciously in order to either show users and search engines different content or show users unexpected content that does not fulfill their original needs. Examples of sneaky redirects include:
  • Showing search engines one type of content while redirecting users to something significantly different
  • Showing desktop users a normal page while redirecting mobile users to a completely different spam domain
While sneaky redirection is spam, there are many legitimate, non-spam reasons to redirect one URL to another. Examples of legitimate redirects include:
  • Moving your site to a new address
  • Consolidating several pages into one
  • Redirecting users to an internal page once they are logged in
When examining if a redirect is sneaky, consider whether or not the redirect is intended to deceive the users or search engines.

Internal link with cloaking

  1. Showing different pages to users and search engines.
  2. Placing the keywords for only search engines, not for human visitors, and redirecting users with links.

Why add a link with a link opportunity?

SEO experts only create internal links where they see the opportunity to link with relevant information.

Example: There is no benefit if you are linking the mobile page to the car page. This is the wrong way of linking.

How many internal links can be applied?

There is no such data as said by the market experts but Google can process 100 links for one web page.
